Madrid. 19th January 2011. The Spanish Global Compact Network has presented the first practical Guide in the Fight Against Corruption. The practical guide was developed to respond to the anti-corruption community’s need for tools to address the challenges of working in the fight against corruption.

Since 2004, the Global Compact has considered the 10th Principle Against Corruption as one of the priority concerns of the initiative.

The Guide was presented by representatives of the Spanish Global Compact Network such as Juan de la Mota (President), Joaquín Garralda (Secretary), Isabel Garro (Director), and by representatives of companies and institutions such as Jesús Lizano (Transparencia Internacional), Cristina Barreno (Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade), Isabel Roser (Fundación Carolina), Aurelio Pérez (Siemens), Antonio Javierre (Javierre S.A.), Beatriz Alonso (BBVA) and Regina Pàlla (COFIDES).
