The Spanish UN Global Compact Network, previously known as Asociación Española del Pacto Mundial (ASEPAM), was formed in November 15th 2004. Nowadays, the Spanish network is one of the most active platforms and gathers more than 600 members including a wide range of interest groups: companies, NGOs, trade unions, academic institutions and social organisations.
COFIDES is a founding member of the Spanish Global Compact Network and reports yearly on its own progress in effectively complying with the Ten Principles. The companys second report, submitted in 2008, is available on the Global Compact website (www.pactomundial.org).
