The Social Impact Fund (FIS) is a public financial instrument managed by COFIDES that aims to support impact investment in Spain and strengthen the social entrepreneurship ecosystem.

It aims to respond to social and environmental challenges such as territorial and social integration, the reduction of inequalities or the consolidation of the welfare state, among others. FIS aims to create an impact with additionality by using financial instruments adapted to the unique reality of the social economy to attract private resources for impact investment.
400 million euros through the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (RRTP).
The Fund is valid indefinitely, so that the returns obtained from the investments financed will be reinvested in new operations in line with the strategy and objectives of the Fund, in order to continue supporting the challenges associated with the sustainable transformation of the Spanish productive model.
The planning phase for operations that may be assessed and approved up to July 2026 is currently closed; therefore, we are unlikely to be able to process new applications for financial support in the short term.
The FIS is a revolving fund and valid indefinitely that will continue to operate and assess funding applications without a deadline. Applications received during this period will be processed by COFIDES from September 2026.
