Madrid, October 24, 2024. COFIDES will contribute to consolidating the internationalization of the company AMFRESH Group, specialized in the production of fresh and natural foods. To this end, it took part in a syndicated loan with other financial institutions in which COFIDES will provide €20M from the Fund for Foreign Investment (FIEX). The total investment of €210M will be used to strengthen the company's internationalization. 

COFIDES has supported the company's international trajectory since 2019 by endorsing its expansion in Australia and the UK. 

The corporate director of COFIDES' Investment Department, Miguel Ángel Ladero, stated that "COFIDES is very pleased to continue supporting the growth of AMFRESH, an international benchmark in fruit production characterized by innovation and its commitment to sustainability and excellence." 

The CEO of AMFRESH Group, Álvaro Muñoz, expressed his satisfaction with this operation, "not only because it allows us to consolidate the financing of our recent expansion operations and provide them with an optimal structure, but also because of the broad backing of first class financial institutions that understand and support our growth plan to become global leaders in the industry."
