Madrid, April 2, 2025. The Chairperson and CEO of COFIDES, Ángela Pérez, and the CEO of the Spanish multinational AMC GLOBAL, Antonio Muñoz Beraza, have signed a financing agreement under which COFIDES will provide a loan of €12.18M euros from the Fund for Foreign Operations (FIEX). This financing will be used to expand one of the company's packaging plants in Vlissingen (The Netherlands).
In particular, the facilities of the WHITE & GREEN division, specialized in plant-based drinks, in which the natural beverages multinational AMC GLOBAL will invest a total of €30M to strengthen its packaging capacity.
The purpose of this expansion of White & Green's plant in the Netherlands is to meet the growing demand for its products in the Central/Northern Europe and the United Kingdom markets. AMC Global maintains eight international plants located in three different countries. AMC GLOBAL operates in The Netherlands since 2013, when its first plant in Vlissingen was built to face the task of the packaging of juices, smoothies and other natural beverages, also with the backing of COFIDES.
Headquartered in Murcia, the multinational AMC GLOBAL is present in more than 70 countries and employs more than 1,700 people. As a European leader and an international reference in the research, development, squeezing, production and marketing of refrigerated fruit juices, gazpachos, functional drinks and high quality natural plant-based drinks, the company is focused in strengthening its presence as a player of international reference in the private label, allowing it to be present in the top 80 retailers in Europe.
