Madrid, December 30, 2025 Amper Group has reached an agreement with COFIDES for the acquisition of a 25% stake in Elinsa, its subsidiary specialized in energy management and storage solutions. The transaction entails a €41.2M investment, to be executed through the Fund for Foreign Investment (FIEX) via a capital increase.

The funds raised will enable Elinsa to expand the manufacturing of power electronics equipment for energy conversion and storage, with a strong focus on international markets. To this end, the investment will finance the construction of a new manufacturing facility in the Morás industrial park in Arteixo (A Coruña), the expansion of production capacity through a second plant, and the rollout of an industrial digitalization program alongside additional technological upgrades to its production processes. In parallel, part of the investment will be allocated to strengthening Elinsa’s industrial, technological, and operational assets in Brazil, where significant growth is expected.

This transaction further reinforces Amper’s position as a manufacturer and developer of electrical and energy storage systems, contributing to the creation of highly skilled employment in Spain, increased exports, and the international projection of Spanish technology in strategic markets.

Ángela Pérez, COFIDES’ Chairperson and CEO pointed out: “This investment will enhance Amper’s international footprint through Elinsa, particularly in the field of energy management and storage. FIEX resources will support the expansion of production capacity in Spain to meet external demand, as well as growth in Brazil, a market where Elinsa has recently secured a major contract.”

Enrique López, CEO of Amper Group, stated: “COFIDES’ investment in Elinsa will enable us to maximize and accelerate the investments needed to strengthen Amper Group’s leadership in energy management and storage solutions for dual-use applications.”
