Madrid, October 30, 2017.- COFIDES´ president, Salvador Marín, will take part today in the closing celebration of the XX edition, and in the opening celebration of the XXI edition of the Master´s Degree in International Management and Trade offered by the Universidad de Zaragoza.
In an event which will take place at the Auditorium of this University at 18:00, Salvador Marín will deliver the lecture called "Nuevos retos de la internacionalización de la economía española y el papel de COFIDES" (New challenges posed by the internationalisation of Spanish economy, and COFIDES´ role). During his lecture he will review the support instruments to the company foreign financing and how the master´s degree has helped internationalise companies from Aragón.
The event will also count on the presence of the rector of the Universidad de Zaragoza, José Antonio Mayoral, and of the master´s degree director, José Antonio Laínez. Furthermore, deputy vice-president of the Cámara de Comercio, Industria y Servicios (Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services) of Zaragoza, Berta Lorente, and the general director of Industria, Pymes, Comercio y Artesania (Industry, SMEs, Commerce and Crafts) of the Govern of Aragón, Fernando Fernández, will also attend this celebration along with other representatives of the economic and business sectors.
This master´s degree has been continuously taught for 20 years and has undergone several transformations, crossing the financial information barrier in order to encompass a more integral education focused on company internationalisation.
Throughout these twenty years, more than 500 professionals have been trained in this degree, an independent course offered by the Universidad de Zaragoza. The success of this degree mainly resides in constantly innovating its programme and its learning methodology with the purpose of training professionals who specialise in the real needs of exporting companies and in the internationalisation processes in order to be part of the management teams of the more than 1,500 companies from Aragón that export regularly.
COFIDES is a combined private-public concern, which since 1988 has provided financial support to Spanish enterprises abroad.
