Madrid, February 25, 2016 - COFIDES today took part in a conference for financial support for company internationalisation, held in Jerez de la Frontera.
Organized by ICEX Spain Export and Investments, as well as the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Jerez de la Frontera, the meeting was attended professionals of the sector such as; Rosalia Martos, from Mediation Management at ICO; Miguel Valle García, Director of Promotion and Cooperation at CDTI; Teresa Madrigal, Commercial and Business Development Manager at COFIDES; Gamero Sofia Vallejo from Foreign Trade department at CaixaBank; and Juan Nuñez Moreno, Manager of the Jerez de la Frontera Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
In his speech, the Commercial and Business Development Manager, Teresa Madrigal, explained the products and financial instruments that COFIDES could offer to Jerez companies interested in expanding their activities to foreign markets, in terms of access to financing lines.
COFIDES is a combined private-public concern, which since 1988 has provided financial support to Spanish enterprises abroad. COFIDES manages the FIEX and FONPYME funds on behalf of the State Secretariat of Commerce, within the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. The stockholders include the Bank of Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Santander Bank, Popular Bank, Sabadell Bank and CAF-Development Bank of Latin America.
