Madrid, January 13, 2016. Compañía Española de Financiación del Desarrollo, COFIDES SA will hold the third edition of the “Internationalisation Advancement” Awards on Thursday 14th January. The event will be presided over by the Secretary of State for Trade, Jaime García-Legaz and will be held in the COFIDES Auditorium.
Through these awards, COFIDES aims to recognise and reward the outstanding Spanish institutions and companies involved in the field of promoting international economic activity. In this edition, COFIDES recognises and reward the work of Chamber of Commerce of Spain, Innovation Agency, Finance and Business Internationalisation (ADE) of the Junta de Castilla and Leon, AMC Juices, Phibo Group and the Directorate General for Trade and Investors.
COFIDES is a combined private-public concern, which since 1988 has provided financial support to Spanish enterprises abroad. COFIDES manages the FIEX and FONPYME funds on behalf of the State Secretariat of Commerce, within the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. The stockholders include the Bank of Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Santander Bank, Popular Bank, Sabadell Bank and CAF-Development Bank of Latin America.
