Madrid, April 9, 2026. COFIDES has acquired an indirect minority stake of €90 million in EYSA, a Spanish company specializing in sustainable mobility solutions, as co-investor to Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset manager and majority shareholder of the company.
COFIDES co-investment has been structured through the Co-investment Fund (FOCO), which aims to support the digital, green, and technological transformation of the Spanish business ecosystem. Through this investment, FOCO will contribute to accelerating EYSA’s technological development, strengthening its operational capabilities, expanding new business lines, and reinforcing its financial capacity to execute its growth plan.
The transaction has been executed through Tikehau Capital’s second Decarbonization private equity program (whose current size exceeds €2.5 billion), focused on supporting companies driving energy transition, infrastructure digitalization, and industrial decarbonization. The firm completed the acquisition of EYSA in 2025, becoming the company’s majority shareholder and partnering with EYSA’s management team.
SUSTAINABLE AND DIGITAL MOBILITY IN SPAIN
FOCO’s investment in EYSA reinforces the company’s technological and operational development in Spain, supporting the deployment of advanced digital tools and the expansion of more efficient and sustainable mobility solutions across urban and interurban environments.
This strengthened financial and operational base enhances EYSA’s ability to execute its growth strategy and further develop its platform with international growth potential.
Ángela Pérez, Chair and CEO of COFIDES, stated: “This investment represents a significant boost for sustainable mobility in Spain. Our collaboration with Tikehau Capital reflects the strength of Spain’s industrial and technological ecosystem in projects that integrate innovation, digitalization, and sustainability. Through FOCO, we are mobilizing investment toward strategic sectors that modernize our production model, and EYSA stands out for its relevance in sustainable mobility and its commitment to more efficient, low-emission solutions.”
David Martín, Co-Head of Tikehau Capital Iberia, said: “Having COFIDES as co-investor validates EYSA’s long-term industrial project and strengthens its capacity to accelerate technological development in sustainable mobility.”
Javier Delgado, CEO of EYSA, commented: “This investment strengthens EYSA’s strategic position at a time of significant transformation in mobility. It will enable us to accelerate innovation, expand into new solutions and continue supporting our clients with advanced technologies and operational capabilities. At the same time, it reflects the international potential of Spanish companies: when innovation, adaptability and execution come together, they can compete successfully and lead globally in sectors that are critical to the energy transition, sustainability, and the modernization of infrastructure and mobility systems, all of which are essential to economic development.”
