SALVADOR MARIN VISITS OHL MEXICO AND AERNNOVA MEXICO

• He monitored projects financed by COFIDES

COFIDES Chairman, Salvador Marín, visited OHL México and Aernnova México to track the projects funded by COFIDES in this country.

During his visit to Mexico, Marin held a working meeting with OHL Mexico chairman, Jose Andres Oteyza, and with officials of the Urban Highway North, which is currently developing OHL Mexico in Mexico City. At the meeting they analized other OHL Group projects in Mexico and the progress of construction of the Urban Highway North, for what they visited the works

Besides, COFIDES chairman held a meeting with the CEO of Aernnova Javier del Molino, and director Financial Officer, Eduardo del Campo, both of the headquarters of Spain, who studied the evolution of the two companies in Mexico, dedicated to in the manufacture of components and tooling for the aircraft industry.

SUPPORT FOR SMEsFinally, in order to promote and encourage the presence of Spanish SMEs in this country, COFIDES chairman met the CEO of Business Promotion, Gustavo Melendez, and the general manager of Business Development and Business Opportunities Miguel Guevara, both from the Ministry of Economy of the Federal Government, with whom he discussed the situation of SMEs and COFIDES financing tools.

Salvador Marin also visited the main event organized by the Federal Government for the spreading of the supports and services for the promotion of SMEs in Mexico, the "2012 SME Week."

COFIDES is a combined private-public concern which finances internationalization of Spanish enterprises through the administration of FIEX and FONPYME funds, dependent of the State Secretariat of Commerce, within the Ministry of Economy and Competitivity. The stockholders also include the participation of Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA), Banco Santander and Banco Sabadell.
